Join us for a Mixed Media Art Workshop with local artist Shawn Boreta. In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, you'll explore texture, color, layering, and a variety of artistic materials while discovering the expressive world of mixed media art.
No prior art experience is necessary. Whether you're just beginning your creative journey or looking to try a new artistic technique, Shawn will provide gentle guidance and encouragement as you create something that's uniquely your own.
During this workshop, you'll design and complete your own 8" × 10" mixed media canvas to take home.
Mixed media is art made by combining different materials — like collage, paint, texture, and personal elements - to create a layered, expressive piece.

Every participant creates something different—there's no "right" or "wrong" way. Your finished artwork will reflect your own imagination and personal style.
